The hospital emergency codes have been employed globally for alerting the hospital staff concerning several emergency events. The codes used tend to relay critical information faster with a minimum lack of understanding to the hospital staff. Code blue does indicate a client or patient that needs resuscitation or quick medical attention. Cardiac arrest in most of the health care facilities is common. The hospitals do possess a team for rapid response or “code blue teams.” These teams are responsible for decreasing preventable in-hospital deaths.
